In 1972 when Schnecksville, Pa's Gary Grim decided to try his hand at stock car racing, little did he know he was starting a family tradition. Now more than 36 years later, Grim still travels the highways of the Northeast towing his stock car behind him.

  But a few things have changed in those 36 years. Gary's role is now that of car owner and crew chief for his son Brad. The second generation driver still sports the family's traditional red and yellow colors. Grim's # 611 Sportsman Modified racer continues to run up front weekly at Andy Harpell's Five Mile Point Speedway in Binghamton, N.Y. as well as the Race of Champions dirt sportsman tour.
